    hi,

I got my MaxiDiag Elite MD802, too excited and forgot backup the original SD card. And when I updated the all files in the SD card, and got many errors due to no space.

I then come to Autel Support Communities, and found I should back up the original files in case some auto maker does not work with the newer version file.

So I'd like to have the original files download as a backup, and have another bigger SD card to be updated to the latest version.

    Thanks.

You should be able to format and setup a new SD card using the earlier versions using the PC suit program. From there click on the earlier version that you want to install. Example: for Acura you would select version 2.00 not 2.01. Hope this helps.

Hi, best option is to buy a new SD card, at least 4gb (I used a 16gb) format it, plug it into your PC, downlad run and sign into the autel Update tool. When i did this, it let me choose all of the V1.0 files. I could the run the autoupdate and choose the latest version software.

    Hope this helps.

Is it possible to transfer the all the files to an external drive and store all the versions. Couldn't you then transfer the required files directly to your SD card as and when needed. Anyone tried this?

Generally you can copy the files to any disk. For safety, please copy it in different locations.
